Blue Bell Bringing Back Two Fan Favorites

After a March Madness-style competition, Blue Bell has announced that not one, but two discontinued flavors will be making a comeback: Groom's Cake and Cookie Cake.

"Groom’s Cake Ice Cream is the winner of The Great Scoop Revival Flavor Tournament. But we have even more good news!" - Lauren Lewis, Blue Bell's public relations manager

The competition, which began on June 25, saw 16 flavors go head-to-head, with the final two being Groom's Cake and Cookie Cake. While Groom's Cake was ultimately declared the winner on July 1, kicking off [National Ice Cream Month], some fans expressed confusion over the results, as Cookie Cake had been leading in some social media votes.

Blue Bell responded by explaining that the total votes included all social media platforms and their website. Due to the overwhelming response and fan support for both flavors, the company decided to bring back both.

Groom's Cake, an "I do"-inspired flavor, features chocolate and cake with chocolate-covered strawberry hearts and swirls of strawberry sauce. Cookie Cake ice cream is made with cream and chocolate chip cookie cake pieces, finished with chocolate and vanilla icing.

Both flavors will be available in stores in 2025.
