Krispy Kreme is bribing Americans with free donuts in exchange for demonstrating patriotism on the Fourth of July.

Krispy Kreme is celebrating the Fourth of July with a sweet deal: a free original glazed doughnut for customers who wear red, white, and blue to participating shops on Independence Day. The deal was announced in a news release last month.

The chain has also launched a new limited-time doughnut collection, the "Star Spangled Sweetness Collection." The collection features three patriotic-themed doughnuts:

Firework Cookies & Kreme: an unglazed doughnut filled with Cookies & Kreme, dipped in red icing, and decorated with a blue icing swirl and rocket candy.
Cotton Candy Sparkler: an Original Glazed dipped in blue icing and cotton candy sugar, topped with white and red buttercream dollops.
Freedom Flag: an Original Glazed dipped in white icing, decorated with red stripes and blue and gold sprinkles.

The collection is available now at select shops and can also be purchased in a specialty 6-count box, delivered fresh daily to certain retailers. Find a participating shop or grocery store here.
