Woman killed by dogs, police shoot one.

A woman is dead after what authorities described as a dog mauling in Bolivar, Tennessee. Theresa Rhodes suffered "extensive injuries" from the attack early Monday morning and later died in hospital. One of the dogs was shot and injured by police at the scene but fled, along with the other dog. Both were later captured and euthanized. The dogs' owner is unknown.

One dog is described as grey and blue, resembling a pit bull; the other, a brown dog with a boxy face and floppy ears. The attack is still under investigation, and authorities have not released Rhodes' age or what led to the mauling.
