Customers who bought Costco's Kirkland Signature Moist Flushable Wipes between 2011 and 2017 may be eligible for a refund as part of a $2 million class-action lawsuit settlement. The suit alleges Costco falsely advertised the wipes as flushable, resulting in plumbing and septic issues for customers.

Consumers argue they would not have purchased the wipes if they knew they were not truly flushable as advertised.
according to Top Class Actions, a legal news website.

To be eligible, customers must have purchased the wipes in New York between July 1, 2011, and May 31, 2017. Claims must be submitted by August 9, with a maximum payout of $55.90 per household.

In separate news, Costco also faces a class-action lawsuit over its Kirkland Signature fragrance-free baby wipes, which are alleged to contain dangerous levels of PFAS despite being marketed as safe for children.
