Family-owned Dear Austin is pouring up community love with a side of local treats.

"This is our love letter to you: whether you're born here, move here, or just passing through, we all share one thing in common — we cherish you dearly."

Owners Joey and Lupita Adams, no strangers to local businesses, also own the Purr-fecto Cat Lounge and Enviromaids, a green cleaning service.

The seaside-vibe shop, which took over longtime cafe Irie Bean, serves coffee, boba tea, beer & wine, frozé, tacos from The Vegan Nom, and pastries from [Mr. Natural](https://www.google.com/maps/dir//Mr+Natural+Restaurant,+1901+E+ CESAR+CHAVEZ,+Austin,+TX+78702/@30.2634282,-97.7587897,14z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m8!4m7!1m0!1m5!2m4!1m2!8m2!3d30.2749272!4d-97.7249933).

The Adams' vision is to give back to their community and celebrate Austin's local businesses and talent. They've created a bright, welcoming space with a local-love theme, featuring a wall of customer "love notes" to Austin.

The outdoor courtyard, with a sandbox, chalkboard, and bar, hosts a monthly market and open mic night.

Dear Austin is open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday-Thursday and until 9 p.m. Friday-Sunday.*
