National Fried Chicken Day Deals: Free Sandwiches, $5 Credit and More

Americans love fried chicken, so it's no surprise that July 6 is National Fried Chicken Day. Though the origin of this food holiday is unknown, many restaurants are offering deals to help you celebrate.

Burger King: Members of the Royal Perks loyalty program can get a free Royal Crispy Chicken Sandwich with a purchase of $5 or more on July 6.

KFC: While KFC has no specific National Fried Chicken Day deal, they're offering 50% off chicken sandwiches (excl. Chicken Little Sandwich), a free 10-piece Saucy Nuggets with a $10 purchase, and a 50-piece nugget for $25. Deals are only available on kfc.com and the KFC app at participating locations.

KFC has also released a merchandise collection with Boxlunch; enter to win the collection on their website.

Popeyes: Members of the Popeyes Rewards loyalty program can get a free 6-piece boneless wings with a $10 purchase through July 14. The chain is also using bots on X (formerly Twitter) to send codes for free wings to those who spoke out against boneless wings.

Angry Chickz: $3 sliders on July 6 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Big Buns: $3 off chicken sandwiches on July 6.

Birdcall: $1 Original Chicken sandwich in-store on July 6 with promo code "ChickenDay".

Bonchon: Adding the new Bonchon Korean Fried Chicken Sandwich to its menu on July 6.

Jack in the Box: Free chicken sandwich with a purchase of $1 or more for current and new members of the Jack Pack loyalty program. Sign up in the Jack app or on their website.

Jollibee: Get 2 free pieces of Chickenjoy fried chicken with every 10-piece bucket ordered online through July 10 with code "NFCD2024".

Pollo Campero: Giving app users a $5 credit to use from July 5-7. Their Fourth of July Bundle, with 50 pieces of chicken, is also available until July 7.
