The attack took place near Wanna Wanna Beach Bar and Grill, according to Texas Game Warden Captain Chris Dowdy. One victim was taken to Valley Regional Medical Center, and another was airlifted for further treatment.

"We suspect a single shark was behind all four incidents, which occurred over two hours," Dowdy said.

The shark has escaped to open waters and is not currently contained.
