Willie Nelson returned to the stage for his annual "4th of July Picnic" in New Jersey, following health concerns. Nelson, 91, had posted on social media that he was "not feeling well" and was advised to rest by his physician. Mavis Staples, Maren Morris, Bob Dylan, and others joined him on stage. Nelson's "Outlaw Road Show" dates continued with his band, Family, and special guests.

This year's Outlaw Music Festival Tour promises to be the biggest and best yet with this lineup of legendary artists. I am thrilled to get back on the road again with my family and friends, playing the music we love for the fans we love. --Willie Nelson

Nelson's improved health was celebrated by fellow musicians on Instagram. Margo Price commented, "Yes! This makes my heart so happy. We must protect Willie at all costs."

Nelson's 152nd album, "The Border," was released in May 2024, featuring iconic musicians and songwriters. For more on Nelson: willienelson.com.
