Hurricane Beryl Makes Landfall in Texas

Hurricane Beryl made landfall near Matagorda, Texas as a Category 1 hurricane early Monday. The storm brought sustained winds of 52 mph and is expected to cause life-threatening storm surge, heavy rainfall, and flash and urban flooding in the eastern part of the state.
