Police Investigate Fatal Fast-Food Shooting in Texas

San Antonio, Texas — Police are investigating a fatal shooting at a Sonic Drive-In on Sunday night that left a store manager dead. Two persons of interest have been located, but no names or charges have been released.

Fast-food Employee Killed

The victim has been identified as Daniel Shrewsbury, 33. The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office ruled the death a homicide by gunshot wound.

Statement from Sonic:

"We are aware of the incident that occurred at our franchised location in San Antonio. The franchisee is cooperating fully with the police in their investigation. Given that this is an active investigation, we defer any further comment to the local police department."

Motive Unknown

The motive for the shooting is unknown, and police have not released further details. The case is still under investigation.
