Austin Man Gets 14 Years for Selling Fentanyl-Laced Pills

An Austin man was sentenced Thursday to 14 years in federal prison for selling pills laced with fentanyl, two years after he was linked to a fatal overdose.

"Fentanyl is deadly, and it's killing unsuspecting users at an alarming rate. Trenton Tindall's actions helped fuel this epidemic, and we hope this sentence sends a message to others who deal these dangerous drugs."

Trenton Tindall, 24, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute/possess ~40g of fentanyl. His operations were uncovered after a fatal OD in Feb '22. Deceased's phone showed they'd bought from Tindall, who then sold ~450 fake oxycodone pills to undercover agents.
