National French Fry Day Deals: Free Fries at McDonald's, Wendy's and More Today

It's National French Fry Day, and to celebrate, several fast-food chains are offering free fries or discounts on fries today, Friday, July 12.

Here are the deals available today:

• McDonald's: Continue its "Summer of Value" with free medium fries when you opt into the rewards program and make a $1 minimum purchase on the app. Available every Friday through the app for the rest of the year.
• Burger King: Members of the Royal Perks loyalty program get a free order of any size fries with a $1 purchase, valid every Friday for the rest of the year. From July 12-14, Royal Perks members also get 2x Crowns in rewards with fry purchases.
• Wendy's: Free any size fries with any purchase made through the mobile app. Valid every Friday for the rest of the year.
• Whataburger: Free medium fry on Friday with any purchase made through the app. Customers who download the app on or before July 12 will also get a free Whataburger if ordered within 24 hours.
• KFC: Members of the KFC Rewards loyalty program get a free order of Secret Recipe fries of any size with any online purchase on July 12.
• Raising Cane's: Free fries on July 12 for Caniac Club members when ordering online or using the QR codes in the mobile app.
• Jack in the Box: Free fries of any size or style (including curly or halfsies) with a $1 purchase on July 12 and every Friday through 2024. Valid for new and existing members of the Jack Pack Rewards Program.

• Taco Bell: Buy a $10 Nacho Fries Lover's Pass to get a regular order of Nacho Fries every day for 30 days in the Taco Bell app.
• Arby's: Throughout July, loyalty program members can get any size fry for $1, and new members also get 25% off their first order.
• Checkers & Rally's: Enter to win one of 100 Fully Loaded Fry Passes, offering free Fully Loaded Fries for a year. From July 12-14, members of the Rewards Program can get a free regular Fully Loaded Fries with any purchase made through the app.
• Fatburger: Get a free order of Fat or Skinny Fries with any purchase made in-store or online with code FRYDAY24 through July 14.
• Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers: Download the Freddy's app on July 12 to get a free order of regular fries with any purchase on July 13-14 when ordered through the app.
• Smashburger: Get a free order of Smash Fries with any purchase made in-store or online with code FRYDAY24 on July 12. On July 11, get tots for $1 with any entrée purchase in-store at participating locations.
• Wayback Burgers: Get a free regular order of fries with the purchase of a burger or sandwich on July 12.
• Wing Snob: Loyalty program members get a free order of fries with no purchase required on July 12.
