Suspicious Death of a Woman in Travis County Under Investigation
Round Rock, TX: The Travis County Sheriff's Office is investigating the "suspicious" death of a woman in her 40s who passed away at a local hospital.
"The woman had fractured bones, in addition to her medical conditions, which has caused the death to be treated as suspicious." - Sheriff's office spokesperson, Kristen Dark
A press release[1] stated that the Williamson County justice of the peace requested the sheriff's office to investigate, as the woman was a Travis County resident.
An autopsy has been scheduled for Thursday by the Travis County medical examiner's office to determine the cause of death.
No further details on the woman's medical conditions have been released, as the case is still open.
