Austin Police ID Man Killed in Northeast Austin, Suspect Still at Large

AUSTIN, TX — A man is dead and his killer is still on the loose after a homicide in Northeast Austin early Friday, according to Austin police.

At approximately 4:06 a.m., police responded to a call in the 4200 block of Grayledge Drive and found a man with "apparent injuries" inside a home, Officer Austin Zarling said. The man was pronounced dead at 4:51 a.m.

Zarling said the investigation is ongoing and did not provide any further details on the cause of death or a possible suspect. Anyone with information is asked to call the APD Homicide Unit at 512-477-3588 or Crime Stoppers at 512-472-8477.
