The GOP Convention: A Live Stream Guide

The 2024 Republican Party Convention gets underway Monday in Milwaukee. Viewers can expect performances, plenty of political discourse, and opportunities to stream the full event online.

Republican delegates will meet in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, from July 15-18 for their 2024 convention. The event, closed to the public, will culminate in the expected nomination of former President Donald Trump.

"GOP" stands for "Grand Old Party," aka the U.S. Republican Party.

Streaming & Location

You can watch the RNC on YouTube, X, Facebook Live, Rumble, Amazon Prime, Twitch, and Direct TV. The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel will also provide a stream, and FOX News across its platforms.

The main venue is Fiserv Forum, with additional spaces at the nearby University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Panther Arena and the Baird Center.

Democratic Counterpart

Democrats will hold their 2024 convention in Chicago, Illinois, from August 19-22.

Why Milwaukee?

Former RNC chairwoman Ronna McDaniel cited Milwaukee's summer weather, lakefront, facilities, and a Democratic mayor open to hosting as deciding factors. Milwaukee had also planned for the 2020 DNC, which became mostly virtual.
