Woman Arrested for Shooting City Employee in Skate Park Bathroom

A woman has been arrested for shooting a city employee in Leander, Texas. The incident occurred on Friday when the employee, a 31-year-old woman, was cleaning the bathroom at the Benbrook Ranch Skate Park. The suspect, 32-year-old Hannah Morgan-Barber, fled the scene after shooting the employee once, but was later found and taken into custody by police.

"Police responded to a report of a woman with a gunshot wound around 6:45 a.m. and found the victim, a Leander Police Department news release said."

The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Morgan-Barber was found in possession of a pistol and has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. The Leander PD has stated that the investigation is ongoing.
