Odessa Commercial Fire Forces Evacuations

A massive fire broke out at a commercial site in Odessa early Tuesday, leading to evacuations for hundreds of residents in the area. The blaze, which started before dawn, engulfed the Permian Basin Containers facility, with chemicals on-site fueling its rapid growth.

"The cause of the fire is still under investigation." - Ector County Sheriff's Office

Miraculously, no injuries or deaths were reported. However, the fire caused significant damage, destroying a nearby mobile home and RV, in addition to the Permian Basin Containers property.
