Dolly Parton's Dollywood park in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, was forced to close after severe thunderstorms caused flash flooding on Sunday. Guests were evacuated, with one minor injury reported, and fire and police departments assisting. The flash flood warning was issued for Sevier County by the National Weather Service at 5:39 p.m. that day.

Floodwaters rose quickly, stranding some guests without vehicles. Videos and images shared on social media depict people wading through ankle-deep water in parking lots and cars driving through murky, tire-high waters. One image posted by Park Fanatic showed waist-deep waters.

An estimated 4.5 inches of rain fell in the area, per news outlets. The park is expected to reopen at noon on Monday, with guests advised to check Dollywood's social media for updates.
