USA TODAY Bars of the Year: Where Our Writers Like to Drink
The best bars are defined by their welcoming atmosphere, bringing people together. Our food and entertainment writers are inviting you to join them at their favorite bars across the country, from trendy cocktail lounges to beloved neighborhood dives.
Unlike other "best bars" lists, our selections are not based on fleeting visits by tourists or temporary trends. Our writers and editors live and work in these communities, and their suggestions are rooted in their personal experiences and late nights spent in these establishments.
