Man dies in fall at Starved Rock State Park
A man fell to his death Saturday at Starved Rock State Park, a popular Midwest destination in Illinois known for its canyons and waterfalls.

The fall occurred at Illinois Canyon at 4:30 p.m., one of the 18 canyons in the park. The cause of the fall is unknown and authorities have not released further information.
Starved Rock, located ~100 miles southwest of Chicago, is famous for its sandstone walls, waterfalls, and lush trails.
