20-Year-Old David Michael Justus Dies After Brutal Assault in Llano County, Two Arrested and Third Suspect at Large

A 20-year-old man, David Michael Justus, has lost his life following a vicious attack at a party in Llano County, Texas.

The Incident:

  • Date: July 14, 2023
  • Location: Mesquite Drive, Kingsland, Llano County
  • Suspects: Ryan Moore and Francisco Reyes, both 19, arrested; third suspect wanted by police.
  • Cause: Brawl among a group of ~30 teens/young adults, triggered by a thrown beer can.

David Michael Justus:

  • Age: 20
  • Residence: Lakeway, TX
  • Education: Lake Travis High School graduate (2023); Austin Community College student
  • Personality: Loved sports; described as having a "larger than life personality" and a passion for learning.
  • Survived By: Parents (Dave & Daya Justus), brother (Dawson Justus), and girlfriend (Saylor Davis)
