Air Canada Flight Cancelled After Attendant Berates Passenger

An Air Canada flight was cancelled due to a flight attendant's explosive outburst, sparked by a simple request for a blanket. The incident, captured on video, shows the attendant scolding and threatening to remove a passenger, accusing them of "bullying." The attendee then storms off, refusing the passenger's request to speak with the captain.

The Incident:

  • Date: Friday (no date specified)
  • Flight: Casablanca, Morocco to Montreal

A 29-second clip, shared on social media, shows:

The [flight attendant]: "Behave, or you will get off!... I will tell the captain right away."

[Passenger]: "Can I call the captain?"

The flight attendant: "I don't want no bullying against my crew. OK, everyone, behave."

  • Air Canada's Response: Apologized, compensated passengers, and rebooked them for Sunday with a different crew.

"[We are] taking this incident very seriously. It is under review, and we will take appropriate action." – Air Canada Spokesperson

  • United Airlines Incident: On Sunday, a United Airlines flight (2477) from Houston was diverted over a "medical issue," possibly a biohazard, as crew and passengers required masks. The plane was deep cleaned.
