Bear cubs trade wilderness for a warped backyard ninja course in California.

Bear cubs enjoy playtime in California yard
Patricia Hobbs of Pioneer, California, captured footage of two bear cubs playing on a "ninja course" in her yard on July 23. Hobbs told Storyful, "I checked [my cameras] and saw the bear cubs playing... The one cub really enjoyed the swing. The other one was looking back saying, 'come on, let's go.'"
Bear Encounter Tips:
- National Park Service offers advice on what to do if you encounter a bear:
- Speak low and steady, don't scream.
- Appear as large as possible.
- Move away slowly, sideways if the bear is stationary.
- Travel in groups, pick up small children.
- If in your yard, stay inside, make loud noises to scare it away.
- Avoid cubs, mother bears are protective.
