Police Investigate Toddler's Death After Dog Attack

Houston, Texas - A tragic incident occurred in North Houston, resulting in the death of a two-year-old girl, Adaya Fisher, identified by the medical examiner.

Houston Police Department Statement:

"At around 12:20 p.m. on Monday, Houston police responded to a distress call from a home in North Houston. Upon arrival, they discovered a toddler had been mercilessly attacked by three Rottweilers while under the care of a babysitter. The child was rushed to Texas Children's Hospital, but unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead."

The owners of the dogs voluntarily gave them to Houston's Bureau of Animal Regulation and Care (BARC), and the dogs were humanely euthanized.

The Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences will conduct an autopsy to determine the official cause of death.
