26 Hospitalized After Ammonia Leak in Virginia Building
An ammonia leak hospitalized 26 people in Loudoun County, Virginia, on Wednesday night. Local officials reported that four of the victims were experiencing "significant symptoms."
At 8:36 p.m. local time, authorities received a call about a gas leak. Loudoun Fire Rescue confirmed the leak was ammonia and found many individuals exposed, with 26 transported to the hospital and others treated on-site.
