Austin Teacher Arrested for Indecency with a Child, Improper Student Relationships

A teacher at LBJ Early College High School in Austin, TX, has been arrested on multiple second-degree felony charges, including indecency with a child and improper relationships with students.

Rodney Childers, who taught band, piano, and choir, was arrested by Austin School Police and has been placed on administrative leave by the district, according to a letter sent to parents by Assistant Superintendent Angel Wilson.
