America's Dirtiest Cities: Texas Spots the List

LawnStarter's 2024 study on America's dirtiest cities is out, and Texas has made the top 10. The study ranks 300+ US cities based on air pollution, water quality, waste management, and resident dissatisfaction.

The Dirty Dozen:

  1. San Bernardino, CA
  2. Detroit, MI
  3. Reading, PA
  4. Newark, NJ
  5. Ontario, CA
  6. Phoenix, AZ
  7. Trenton, NJ
  8. Las Vegas, NV
  9. Houston, TX
  10. Baytown, TX

Baytown has the worst air pollution in the nation, with Houston close behind in 12th. Houston also ranks high in infrastructure issues (27th) and resident unhappiness (50th).
