USDA Identifies Over 70 Contaminated Boar's Head Products, 34 Cases of Listeria
Last week, the USDA announced a listeria outbreak linked to Boar's Head products, now totaling over 70 products and 34 cases of listeria, primarily on the East Coast.
Data shows meats sliced at delis may be contaminated and are making people sick.

As of now, this outbreak affects over seven million pounds of Boar's Head products, a significant increase from the initial 200,000 pounds flagged last week.

- Illinois
- Indiana
- Maryland
- Massachusetts
- Missouri
- Minnesota
- New Jersey
- New York (12 cases)
- North Carolina
- Pennsylvania
- Virginia (2 cases)
- Wisconsin
Recalled Products:
Boar's Head items with establishment numbers "EST. 12612" or "P-12612" within the USDA mark of inspection, including:
- Sausages
- Hams
- Cheeses
