Voters, take heed: Candidates may be misleading

News flash: Our future leaders should be thoughtful with their words and actions. No more empty suits, spineless empty vessels spouting corporate and government rhetoric. Integrity and authenticity are vital. Let's demand more from those seeking power.

We must demand better of our leaders. Before kindergarten, we teach our kids to reject name-calling and bigotry. Holy Scripture agrees: "You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor" (Exodus 20:16). Our future leaders should embody intelligence, insight, honesty, integrity, kindness, and honor.

You know, you could grow up to be president!
