Hurricane Debby made landfall in Steinhatchee, Florida, at 7 a.m. on Monday, August 5, 2024, as a Category 1 hurricane with maximum sustained winds of 80 mph.

The storm is expected to move through North Florida today and into Georgia, with its effects reaching South Carolina before moving offshore into the Atlantic.
