Snoop Dogg has become the unofficial mascot of the 2024 Paris Olympics, with his torch relay and reactions to events going viral. Some Texans could give Snoop a run for his money, though.

Contenders for the title include:

  • Willie Nelson: Texas' de facto mascot, with his unique voice and braids, plus he's Snoop's buddy.
  • Matthew McConaughey: Unmistakeable accent, humour, and charm. Already in France.
  • BeyoncĂ©: Globally recognised star, powerful presence.
  • Post Malone: Humble, charming, and funny, with a unique sense of style.
  • Patrick Mahomes: High-profile, quirky, and best friend of Taylor Swift's partner.
  • Sandy Cheeks: Fictional, but reputable and humorous Texas cartoon character.

Could any of these Texans rival Snoop's Olympic popularity?
