Disney+ Increasing Prices, Along with ESPN+, Hulu, and Streaming Bundles

If you're planning on streaming "Inside Out 2" or the new "Daredevil: Born Again" series on Disney+, get ready to pay more. Monthly subscription prices are increasing from $7.99 to $9.99 (with ads) and from $13.99 to $15.99 (without ads). These changes take effect on October 17 and apply to all new and current subscribers.

ESPN+ and Hulu are also raising their prices. The Disney+, Hulu, and Max bundle (with ads) will be $16.99, and the ad-free version will be $29.99. The upcoming standalone sports streaming service, Venu Sports, will cost $42.99/month and include ESPN+.

Here's a breakdown of the new prices for bundles:

  • Disney+ and Hulu bundle (with ads) will increase by $1 to $10.99, while the no-ad version stays at $19.99.
  • ESPN+ will go up by $1 to $11.99/month.
  • Hulu will increase by $2 to $9.99 (with ads) and $1 to $18.99 (without ads).
  • Hulu + Live TV bundle will go up by $6 to $82.99 (with ads) and by $6 to $95.99 (without ads).

Disney is introducing new features like ABC News Live and playlists for preschool and premium subscribers. Four more playlists are coming this fall: "Seasonal Content," "Epic Stories," "Throwbacks," and "Real Life."
