Hurricanes are brewing in the Caribbean; a new tropical storm is making its way towards the Yucatan peninsula, Beryl's last target before Texas.

Tropical Wave Produces Showers, Thunderstorms but Development Uncertain

A tropical wave east of the Windward Islands is producing showers and thunderstorms with a slow development, per the National Hurricane Advisory.

As of Tuesday, it heads towards Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula.

Any development...should be slow...while it moves westward over the central Caribbean Sea. Environmental conditions may become more conducive later this week.

It is unclear if the disturbance will become a tropical depression or storm.

  • 7 days: Low (30%)
