Man Arrested for Allegedly Booby-Trapping Toilets with Fireworks in San Antonio, Texas

San Antonio, Texas: A man is out on bond after being arrested for allegedly booby-trapping toilets in local business bathrooms, causing minor injuries.

Paul Moses Alden, 46, was arrested on August 1st on arson charges. He bonded out the same day. according to SAPD

Per the affidavit, Alden is accused of placing "pressure-activated," commercially available fireworks under toilet seats, injuring multiple people. The alleged attacks took place at The Wash Tub car washes. The first reported incident occurred on July 20, with subsequent attacks on July 26, injuring a woman, a little girl, and an employee.

Alden was identified via security cameras and recognized by employees as a "regular customer." He was spotted entering and leaving bathrooms, and watching the bathroom doors before exiting the premises after the explosives went off.
