In 2021, Bijan Robinson suffered a dislocated elbow in the 10th game. The team rushed for over 200 yards in the next 2 games, with Keilan Robinson and Roschon Johnson filling the void.

In 2023, Jonathon Brooks' season was cut short with 4 games left. CJ Baxter and Jaydon Blue shared the load, with the latter rushing for 121 yards against Texas Tech.

With Baxter out for 2024, Texas has Blue, Quintrevion Wisner, and freshmen Jerrick Gibson and Christian Clark ready to step up. Can they maintain Texas' rushing attack? [1][https://url-for-reference-1]
