Samsung recalls a million stoves with faulty controls.

The Samsung range activation knobs are out of control -- 300+ incidents recorded. And these faulty appliances were linked to 250 fires!

Samsung issues recall for electric stoves with front-mounted knobs due to fire hazard. [https://www.samsung.com/us/support/range-knob-kit/] More than 1 million units sold, with over 300 reports of unintentional activation by people or pets since 2013. Approximately 250 fires, 18 causing extensive damage, and 40 injuries reported. Recalled models include NE58K9430SS/AA, NE58N9430SG/AA, NE58R9431SG/AA, and others. Stoves sold at Best Buy, Costco, Home Depot, and online for $1,250 to $3,050. Consumers advised to contact Samsung for free knob locks or covers. [http://samsung.com/us/support/range-knob-kit]
