Another Storm Looms as Debby Moves Out

As Debby weakens, bringing rain & floods to the Northeast & New England, forecasters eye a tropical wave in the Atlantic. Per the NHC, it's located between Africa & the Caribbean, expected to become a tropical depression next week near the Lesser Antilles, with an 80% chance of developing. If it becomes a storm, it'll be named Ernesto.

"This system is unlikely to organize into a tropical depression ... as it approaches the Leeward Islands early next week, it could be a vastly different story," - Alyssa Glenny, Accuweather meteorologist.

Debby caused flash floods in PA & NY, after dumping rain in the Southeast. The Atlantic hurricane season runs until Nov 30, peaking on Sept 10.
