Iowa Murder Suspect Killed by US Marshals in California

An 18-year-old man, Victor Delgadillo, wanted on murder charges in Iowa, was shot and killed by a U.S. Marshal's Task Force in Anaheim, Southern California.

According to the Anaheim PD, multiple officers opened fire, killing Delgadillo and injuring a bystander. A firearm was found at the scene, but the specifics of what led to the shooting are unclear.

Witnesses Report 15-20 Shots Fired

Locals reported hearing approx. 15-20 shots, with one witness, Donovan Jimenez, telling KABC:

"I didn't hear (officers) before yell for the guy to put his hands up or stop. Afterwards, they did. From there, we kind of saw the whole medical team come"

Delgadillo was a suspect in an Iowa shooting in June, per the Marshalltown PD. The investigation into the officer-involved shooting is ongoing.
