Two Arrested in Connection with Texas Homicide

Bastrop, TX — The Bastrop Police Department has announced the arrest of two men in connection with the homicide of 42-year-old Ralph Yarbrough.

In a Facebook post, the department stated that 53-year-old Keith Pennington has been charged with Yarbrough's murder, which occurred on July 25 in the 300 block of State Highway 71 West. Yarbrough "sustained a significant amount of bodily injury," though the weapon used was not specified.

Nicholas Ray, 37, has also been taken into custody and is facing a charge of tampering with evidence, according to the post.
