London Zoo is buzzing with excitement over a new Banksy piece that has appeared on their front shutters. The artwork depicts a gorilla lifting a curtain for a group of flying animals, including a hummingbird and a seal, while three pairs of eyes lurk in the darkness. The zoo's animal operations manager, Daniel Simmonds, called the piece "absolutely brilliant" and expressed his honor at Banksy choosing their location for his latest artwork. This is the last in a series of animal-centric pieces that have popped up across the city, including a rhino mating with a car and a wolf howling at the moon. The zoo plans to preserve the artwork, and expects thousands of visitors to come and see it.

We’re quite honored he's chosen to use our front shutters this morning to put one of his incredible artworks. - Daniel Simmonds, London Zoo's animal operations manager
