Musk Interviews Trump, Questions Harris and Biden

Washington – Billionaire Elon Musk interviewed his endorsed 2024 presidential candidate, Donald Trump, Monday. The broadcast was delayed by 40 minutes due to technical issues. Musk attributed the delay to "Internet denial-of-service troubles."

"Worst case, we will proceed with a smaller number of live listeners and post the conversation later," Musk said.

Musk and Trump discussed their mutual opposition to illegal border crossings and the recent assassination attempt on Trump. Trump called it "a miracle," saying, "If I hadn't turned my head, yeah, I would not be talking to you now."

Musk did not challenge Trump's criticism of Kamala Harris and Joe Biden on issues like the economy. Trump denounced legal cases against him as Musk agreed, attacking the "abuse of the legal system."

Trump's team tried to monetize the event, asking followers to make it "Trump's BIGGEST FUNDRAISING DAY EVER!" on X.

Harris' aides called the interview a "paid advertisement." Spokesperson Joseph Costello said, "Trump’s entire campaign is in service of people like Elon Musk and himself—self-obsessed rich guys who will sell out the middle class and who cannot run a livestream in 2024."

The broadcast was reminiscent of Musk's 2023 interview with Ron DeSantis, which suffered similar technical issues. Trump supporters like Laura Loomer excused the issues, saying, "President Trump broke the internet. Literally."
