Tropical Storm Ernesto Eyes Caribbean, Expected to Spare Mainland U.S.

Tropical Storm Ernesto formed Monday, heading toward the Caribbean with Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands in its path.

"Tropical storm conditions are possible in these areas beginning Tuesday, with heavy rain, flash floods, and mudslides expected."
