Austin Police Identify Pedestrian Killed in Tarrytown Crash

The Austin Police Department (APD) has identified Allison Baker, 65, as the pedestrian who died after being struck by a driver in Tarrytown last week. "One of the pedestrians, Allison Baker, 65, was pronounced dead on the scene."

Another pedestrian sustained serious injuries and was hospitalized. Thankfully, they are cooperating and did not suffer any injuries nor were they impaired.

Despite this, no arrest has been made. Statistics show 51 fatal crashes have taken place so far, a marginal decrease from 2022, when 56 fatal crashes had occurred by this time.
