Librarian: Fall lineup suits all ages

As of Labor Day, Pflugerville Library reopens with a full schedule of programs and activities for all.

Pflugerville Public Library: Fall Program Guide

The Pflugerville Public Library is gearing up for a fun-filled fall with a range of programs and events for all ages. Starting after Labor Day, the library will offer:

  • Storytimes: Multiple storytimes for babies, toddlers, and pre-K, including a new Saturday storytime at 11 am.
  • Special events: Toddler Dress-Up Party, Staci Gray visit, Stuffed Animal Sleepover, and A Snowy Day storytime.
  • Kids ages 5-8: Hooves & Read, Divine K9s, Kids Club, and Homeschool Kids.
  • Juggler Matt Tardy and the annual Stuffed Animal Sleepover on Nov 22.
  • Tweens ages 8-12: Tween Time and Homeschool Tweens with crafts, books, and special activities. Introduction of in-person and virtual sessions for MakerGirl to teach CAD and 3D printing.
  • Teens ages 12-18: Teen Advisory Group, DiversiTeen, Craft Nights, and Homeschool Teens. New: Teen Spice of the Month Club, Mini-fig painting, Murder Mystery Night, and National Novel Writing Month workshops.
  • Family/multiple age groups: Pajama Storytime, Family Nights, Down Dogs & Dragonflies (yoga), and Trash to Treasure. Fan favorites like Kitty CafĂ©, Pfiber Arts Club, and the Ukulele Club continue.
  • Adults/seniors: Movies, crafts, computer classes, Pfab Lab trainings, genealogy sessions, book buzzes, and more. New: Pfiber Arts and Flicks, combining movie screenings, beverages, and fiber art projects. Special events: Fall Plant Swap on Sept 7, author Lida Traugott on Oct 3, and mushroom growing with the Central Texas Mycological Society on Oct 12.
