Here's a breakdown of the upcoming Powerball drawing:

  • Jackpot: The estimated jackpot for Wednesday's drawing stands at $20 million. If a lucky winner chooses the lump-sum option, they can expect to take home approximately $10 million, before taxes.
  • Winning Numbers: Check back here after 11 p.m. ET on Wednesday to see if your numbers match the winning combination.
  • Previous Winners: To view a list of all the lucky individuals who have struck it rich through Powerball, visit the lottery's official website.
  • How to Play: Purchasing a Powerball ticket is easy. Simply visit an authorized retailer, such as a convenience or grocery store, and request a ticket. You can also buy tickets online in select states through Jackpocket. Each ticket costs $2, and you will need to choose five white ball numbers from 1 to 69 and one red Powerball number from 1 to 26. For an extra dollar, you can add the "Power Play" option, which increases non-jackpot prizes by 2, 3, 4, 5, or even 10 times!
  • Drawings: Powerball drawings take place three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays at approximately 11 p.m. ET. If no one wins the jackpot, the prize money rolls over, growing larger each time.
  • Where to Buy: Tickets are readily available at gas stations, convenience and grocery stores, and even some airport terminals. You can also skip the line and purchase tickets online through Jackpocket in the following states and territories: Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Idaho, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Puerto Rico, Texas, Washington D.C., and West Virginia.
