Trader Joe's recalls 650K fire-hazard candles
Trader Joe's has recalled its Mango Tangerine candles—over 650,000 of them are fire hazards.

Trader Joe's issued a recall Thursday for Mango Tangerine scented candles due to fire and burn hazards. Approximately 653,000 candles are affected. The recall is specifically for the Mango Tangerine Scented Candles with SKU 56879, sold in tin containers in June 2024.
Consumers should immediately stop using and return the candles to any Trader Joe's for a full refund, or complete the product feedback form online.
The recall is a result of reports of high flames, with 14 incidents including three cases of minor property damage and two minor burn injuries.
