Fans Fume Over Chappell Roan's ACL Set Shift

Fans of Chappell Roan are expressing their frustration over the last-minute shift of the singer's set from Saturday to Sunday at the Austin City Limits Music Festival. The change has left many disappointed, especially those who had bought Saturday tickets specifically to see her perform her breakout song, "HOT TO GO."

Festival organizers stated:

"Recently, an artist dropped off the ACL Fest lineup. When this happens, we look at ways to get creative with our programming to enhance the fan experience and provide opportunities for artists who have grown significantly since they were initially booked."

Fans took to social media to voice their discontent:

  • "Hey! This is insane to do 50 days before the festival when I’m sure thousands have bought Saturday-only tickets!" @not_blaine
  • "Request a refund or let us switch our ticket date," @startbytrusting wrote, detailing their expenses and planning.

Others highlighted the nature of festival lineup fluctuations; "[It's the] music festival, not a headline show," @thestoryofbean replied.

A petition to revert the change has been started, reflecting the passion of Roan's fanbase.

The last-minute shift highlights the challenges of festival organization and the passion of music fans.
