10 U.S. Service Members Injured in Training Incident
Ten U.S. service members were injured during a training incident on Thursday night and were transported from the Naval Air Station Fallon, in the Nevada desert, to Reno, landing at Pickett Park around 9:15 p.m.
"[At] approximately 9:15 p.m., two helicopters landed at Pickett Park in Reno with 10 service members onboard who had been injured during a training incident at NAS Fallon." - KRNV
The injured were transported to Renown Regional Medical Center; the hospital confirmed their admittance but provided no further details on their conditions or the extent of their injuries.
