Woman Arrested at Applebee's Over "All You Can Eat" Deal

Shawneesha Latrice Cobbs, 28, of Chicago, was arrested on Aug. 2 in Portage, Indiana, after an argument about Applebee's "All You Can Eat" deal.

According to the arrest report, "Officers...were dispatched...for a reported verbal disturbance...Dispatchers advised responding officers that they heard multiple females screaming and threatening people."

The group, which included Cobbs, thought the $15.99 deal covered everyone at the table. However, the deal is per person, offering endless wings, riblets, shrimp, and fries.

"The group told police the [manager] became very unprofessional...nowhere on the menu did it state the deal was 'per person.'"

The officer showed the group the fine print on the menu, and while doing so, Cobbs engaged in an argument with another couple leaving the restaurant.

"...Cobbs became very loud and disorderly, attracting the attention of other patrons...[She was warned] for disorderly conduct but...was unable to be quieted."

Cobbs was arrested and later transported to Porter County Jail. Another group member paid the bill in full once the misunderstanding was cleared up.
