Ford Recalls:

  • 2024 Ranger and 2024 Lincoln Nautilus (70,483 vehicles): Windows may fail to automatically reverse when pinching objects, posing an injury risk. Fix: update driver/passenger door module software. Ford's number for this recall is 24C24.
  • 2020-2022 Explorer (85,238 vehicles) with police interceptor utility package: Engine failure may lead to engine oil/fuel vapor release, increasing fire risk. Fix: update powertrain control module software, inspect/replace engine long block if needed. Ford's number: 24S52.
  • 2023-2024 Transit (1,902 vehicles): Incorrect bolt in steering column may cause steering component separation and loss of control. Fix: replace steering column intermediate shaft bolt. Ford's number: 24S48.
  • 2024 Mustang (4,595 vehicles): Rear suspension knuckles may have a casting defect, leading to loss of vehicle handling/steering control. Fix: inspect/replace rear suspension knuckle. Ford's number: 24S49.
  • 2023-2024 Maverick, 2023 Bronco Sport, 2023 Mustang Mach-E (37,371 vehicles): Front windshield wiper motor may fail, reducing visibility and increasing crash risk. Fix: inspect/replace wiper motor. Ford's number: 24S51.

General Motors Recall:

  • 2023-2024 Cadillac LYRIQ AWD (21,469 vehicles): Anti-lock brake system may activate unexpectedly, releasing brake pressure and increasing crash risk. Fix: update electronic brake control module software (OTA or dealer). GM's number for this recall: N242453471.
